Dépourvu de mitrailleuse, il emportait quatre bombes à fragmentation AO-25. Cette unité participa au soutien des partisans dans les régions de Kalinine et de Smolensk, en Biélorussie et dans les pays baltes.

An interesting photograph of a U-2VS from the 105th Independent Guards Aviation Regiment of the Civil Air Fleet (105.GvOAP GVF), equipped with a likely field-modified silencer variant. It was lacking a machine gun, but carried four AO-25 fragmentation bombs. This unit supported partisan operations in the Kalinin and Smolensk regions, as well as in Belarus and the Baltic states.
