C/N

This exceptional list showed the composition of the three squadrons from the 931.OGRAP after 1986.
The top left column resumed the aircraft list of the first squadron (Analysis > HERE).
The one below mentioned the aircraft list of the second squadron, namely 12 Yak-28PP including one unidentified aircraft (n°42) and three Yak-28U.
Finally, the top right column listed the MiG-25 of the third squadron: 12 MiG-25BM and 3 MiG-25RU.
In addition, there was some unidentified notes bottom right.
Note the homogeneity of the squadrons strength: there were 3 two-seaters in each squadron, 13 combat aircraft with the 1.AE and 12 combat aircraft each with the 2. and 3.AE.

But let's focus more on the aircraft of the third squadron. The list contains the same elements as those already described for the first aviation squadron in the first part of this chapter, we will not return.
The serial numbers of the MiG-25BM thus began with 66 despite the fact that it would have been logical for them to start with 02 (Article 02M).
Aircraft n°70/71/72/73 had the mention "TP-2". Probably T for Tangazh and P-2 for Peleng-2 (in this case -2M for the MiG-25BM). However, all MiG-25BM were equipped with the Tangazh ELINT suite and the Peleng-2M. Why was it mentioned for these four aircraft and not for the other ones? That remains a mystery. Perhaps the person who typed this list realized or was informed during the typing that these annotations were unnecessary for the reasons mentioned before...
