Départ en mission d'un Cessna L19E du DETALAT BERLIN de Tegel en 1993. Un observateur-photographe a pris place sur le siège arrière comme pendant la guerre froide... Si la Mission militaire française de liaison avait été dissoute le 31 décembre 1990, certains de ses personnels furent réaffectés au 2ème bureau de l'Etat-major français à Berlin pour y poursuivre leur travail de renseignement notamment par la voie aérienne. Les marquages "armée de TERRE" avaient par ailleurs été retirés des fuselages de façon à paraître plus discret ou du moins, moins provocant. On remarquera en arrière-plan diverses antennes d'écoute de l'EES 32/351 ainsi qu'un ancien N2501 "Gabriel" (n°25) de l'EE 54 qui fut déclassé sur place en 1983 pour être livré aux pompiers de Tegel.

Whereas the French military liaison mission had been disbanded on December 31st, 1990 some of its personnel had been transferred to the intelligence service (2éme bureau) of the French HQ at Berlin to continue their intelligence work including by air. The "armée de TERRE" markings had been removed from the aircraft fuselages to be less conspicuous and provocative. Some listening antennas of the EES 32/351 can be seen in the background as well as a derelict Nord 2501 "Gabriel" (n°25) of the EE 54, which was withdrawn from use on location in 1983 to be delivered to Tegel firemen.
